Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh honoured 10 youths with Ten Outstanding Young Persons (TOYP) Award 2022 in recognition of their outstanding contributions to society. Information and Broadcasting Minister Hasan Mahmud and JCI Bangladesh President Niaz Morshed handed over the awards to the winners at a ceremony held in a Cox’s Bazar hotel on Friday (9 December 2022).Cox’s Bazar-3 Member of Parliament Saimum Sarwar Kamal also present as a special guest.

The largest youth organization in South Asia, on November 11 at the youth grand rally organized on the occasion of its founding anniversary and golden jubilee. Juba League Information and Technology Affairs Secretary Shamsul Alam Khan Anik, Deputy Information and Technology Affairs Secretary NI Ahmed Saykat, Central Committee Member Niaz Morshed Elite explained the Prime Minister about the website and mobile apps of Juba League. At this time, the Honorable Prime Minister admired the initiative of Juba League.

Juba League Chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash presided over the grand rally. It should be noted that the website and mobile apps were developed under the overall supervision of Niaz Morshed Elite following the guidance of Juba League Chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash.

Mobile Financial Service, Nagad organized a view exchange meeting with Counter Terrorism and Transnational Unit (CTTC) on 3 July 2022. Md. Asaduzzaman, Additional Commissioner of DMP and Chief of CTTC, was the chief guest at the event while Niaz Morshed Elite, Executive Director of Nagad Limited, delivered the opening remarks.The function was attended by Lt Col Md Kousar Soukat Ali (Retd.), Chief External Affairs Officer of Nagad and Md. Mahbub Alam, DIG (Retd.), Head Stakeholder Management of Nagad.

CMP will give security to the Nagad distributors’ financial transactions

Mobile Financial Service, Nagad, and the Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) held a discussion over the financial security of customers on 3 July 2022. The conference was organized by Nagad’s External Affairs Division. Saleh Mohammad Tanvir, Commissioner of Chittagong Metropolitan police graced the occasion as the chief guest. The event was also attended by Mohammad Shamsul Alam, Additional Commissioner of Police, Niaz Morshed Elite, Executive Director of Nagad Ltd, Lt. Col Md. Kousar Soukat Ali (Retd.), Chief of External Affairs officer of Nagad Ltd. Mahbub Alam, Head of Stakeholder Management of Nagad, M Nurul Alam, Chief Corporate Governance Officer, Mohammad Solaiman, Chief Public Affairs Officer were also present at the occasion.

JCI Rock Fest 2022

Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh, for the first time, has organized “JCI Rock Fest 2022” and was held in International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) Hall 1 in Dhaka on 10th June 2022. With the biggest band-line up considering Miles, Artcell, Warfaze, Avoid Rafa, Mechanix, Derek, and Teerondaz, they performed their popular songs and rocked the venue. The presence of the 2022 National President of JCI Bangladesh, Mr. Niaz Morshed Elite, and all the members of JCI Bangladesh made the event more enjoyable and delightful. Around 3,000 youths participated in the event. They also expressed their feelings that this rock concert should also be organized next year. The concert was organized on World Population Day to unite the youth in building a united society. JCI Bangladesh is always looking forward to the betterment of the young generation and bringing society together as a whole.

The 'Nagad Cup Golf Tournament 2022' at Kurmitola Golf Club in Dhaka Cantonment

Gathered around 650 golfers from all across the world. Niaz Morshed Elite, Executive Director of Nagad, won the ‘Longest Drive’ award at the tournament. The prize was presented to the winner by the chief of army staff, S M Shafiuddin Ahmed. Tanvir A Mishuk, the Managing Director of Nagad, was also present at the occasion.

Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh organized ‘Presidential Mezban and Family Day Out’ on February 28, 2022. Barrister Biplob Barua, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister was present as the chief guest. JCI Bangladesh’s National Governing Body and Local Presidents has been Inaugurated during the same event where, Rakhi Jain, JCI World’s Vice President for the Asia Pacific was present as the chief guest. The event was presided over by JCI Bangladesh National President Niaz Morshed Elite. First Lady Tasmina Ahmed Sraboni was also present during the occasion. Various cultural performances including music and dance performances and recitations by the JCI members were performed during the event. The invited guests were treated to the traditional food of the Chattogram region ‘Mezban’.
